How We Spend Our Money

Fistula Program The FDSA funded Fistula program works to build an effective, comprehensive strategy to address fistula in the context of maternal mortality and morbidity. The money not used in evacuating our members is used to undertake charity evacuations and provide access to Medial Outreach services. Over the past 5 years since 2006, we have carried out an average of 40 evacuations every year. The objective of this programme is to treat patients who would not otherwise have access to the care they need and to train local health teams in extremely rural areas to carry out this work themselves in the future.
